Must-Have:
Must be able to pass an online EKG tele competency assessment prior to starting assignment.
Experience in patient charting systems, specifically Epic, is required.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Description:
The role involves providing care in a progressive care unit.
Travelers will be the first to float at the discretion of management.
Assignments may vary based on the needs of the unit.
This position requires availability to work every other weekend and holiday.
Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives.
Management reserves the right to cancel shifts due to low census for the duration of the contract.
Floating may occur within the hospital or to nearby locations as necessary.
Patient ages range from adults to geriatrics.
The unit typically sees diagnoses such as COPD, congestive heart failure, stroke, renal failure, and others.
Candidates must be comfortable floating to various units without restrictions.
Candidates should possess skills in managing and caring for patients with complex health needs, including telemetry and other critical care protocols. About Cynet Health
