Pipefitter Journeyman - Construction

RQ is seeking skilled Pipefitters to support our Mechanical Operations team on projects located in Pensacola, Florida and surrounding areas. This position is part of our talent pipeline, and we are seeking individuals interested in future opportunities to join the RQ team . Pipefitters will be responsible for the installation, assembly, layout, and maintenance of piping systems on active construction sites. Pipefitters are expected to perform work in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and applicable building codes while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and safety. Candidates should possess strong technical pipefitting knowledge and experience using the proper tools and equipment required for commercial mechanical installations. RQ specializes in accelerated, ground-up commercial construction projects for both private and public-sector clients, with a significant concentration in Department of Defense construction and infrastructure work.

High school diploma or G.4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journeyman-level pipefitter in a commercial, or facilities operations setting is required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.

• Mechanical Pipe Installation
• Deep underground experience
• Start-up and Energizing Experience (Boilers, Chillers)
• Valid Pipefitter license or journeyman card is preferred
• Current Welding certificate
