Full Time: Systems Engineering Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team designing, building, and testing electro-optic mechanical stabilized systems. The Systems Engineer will execute multiple aspects of the systems engineering discipline, including requirements decomposition into software/hardware functions, system performance analysis and trade studies, oversight of software/hardware development and system integration and test activities to ensure system requirements closure. The systems engineer will interact with development teams, production teams, program leadership, and customer regarding technical considerations, risks, and issue closure associated with our programs capabilities. This position will be based in our Tucson, AZ office and is classified as a full-time, exempt, non-supervisory position.

Responsibilities Coordinate and conduct system integration testing to ensure compatibility and performance.

Develop detailed test plans and procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available.

Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, architectures, and troubleshooting procedures.

Derive requirements, establish requirements traceability, perform systems integration & test, and verify performance.

Present engineering material in lifecycle design reviews and support test events at multiple test sites.

Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components into a cohesive system.

Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.

4+ years with a PhD.

Eligible to obtain and hold a Secret clearance.

Hands-on knowledge for precision assemblies and testing of hardware.

Develop detailed test plans and procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available.

Document findings, generate test reports, and present results to stakeholders.

Ability to write scripts for test automation and data analysis

Experience with project management methodologies and tools like Agile, Scrum
