We are looking for motivated, reliable team members to join our production operation in McKinney, Texas. In this hands-on role, you’ll help support the equipment, processes, and people who keep our world-class manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently.

Starting Pay: $29/hr.

Location: 910 Elm St, McKinney, Tx, 75069

Schedule: 5 PM - 3A, Monday - Friday

Availability to work weekends

Position Overview:
Prysmian is seeking an individual who is looking to join the Maintenance Team. In this role, you will beworking as a Machinist in our Machine Shop.

Job Responsibilities:
Read blueprints and/or fabricate parts from samples.
Work effectively in a team environment.
Maintain a safe and organized workspace.

Operate manual machine shop equipment, including:
Knee mills.
Lathes.
Surface grinders.
Saws.
Hoist.
Drill press.
Morrison key seater.
Forklift.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Basic computer skills.
Must provide own tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with lathes, mills, grinders, metalworking processes, and cutting tools.
Preferred: Minimum 5 years of experience in a machine shop environment.

Note: This position does not involve CNC equipment.

Physical Requirements
This position involves:

Repetitive movement.
Frequent walking throughout the facility.
Kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
Use of hands to operate tools, parts, and equipment.
Lifting up to 50 lbs. while bending, twisting, and standing.
