Manufacturing Plater - Weekend Overnights

We are hiring experienced Pipe Welders for our Industrial Refrigeration Team! Pay will be based on experience and welding qualifications.

Pipe Welders must be able to travel, majority of the year to service customers in NC, SC, VA, TN.

Determine required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques

Select type and size of pipe and related materials per job specifications

Plan sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers (if applicable)

Secure pipes to structure with clamps, brackets, and hangers, using hand tools

Ability to obtain AWS 6G certification through ColonialWebb

Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding methods

Experience with cutting and assembling pipe

Knowledge of properties in various welding rods and fluxes used in welding metal

Ability to work a flexible schedule including unscheduled overtime (nights and weekends)
