Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend | Self-Scheduling
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
Work night shifts on a 36-hour-per-week expected schedule with every other weekend availability
Participate in holiday coverage as scheduled
Float within the Labor and Delivery specialty as required
Complete all required onboarding compliance steps, including labs within 72 hours of contract signing and all compliance documents at least 5 days prior to start date
Required Qualifications
Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
BLS certification required (AHA only)
NRP certification required (NRP or AAP accepted)
S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (permanent address) to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
Comfort with floating within specialty scope and adapting to varied patient assignments
CPI certification (The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor)
