Construction Recruitment Consultant | Mission Critical | Industrial | Commercial A nationally ranked general contractor is hiring an Estimator to support preconstruction and estimating efforts on large-scale commercial, data center, and industrial projects. This role is ideal for a detail-driven builder who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong foundation in quantity takeoffs, pricing, and subcontractor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates
Lead quantity takeoffs, scope reviews, and bid comparisons
Interface with owners, architects, and engineers during design
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
Participate in value engineering and budget reconciliation efforts
Support handoff to project teams and update historical cost data
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial estimating
Strong ability to read plans and specs across all disciplines
Familiar with tools like OST, Assemble, Bluebeam, and Excel
Highly organized with strong analytical and communication skills
