The Infusion Nurse will contribute to the company's growth by providing direct patient care at our clinic in New Jersey. The Infusion Nurse will make sure our patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy. The Infusion Nurse role is perfect for those wishing to remain at the forefront of healthcare innovation, while having predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload (always a 3:1 patient to clinician ratio).Assess and document the health status of the patientDeliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelinesAssist in maintaining medical inventory and suppliesOpenly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of careProvide onsite supervision for all patientsHere's what we're looking for:Current RN licensure in New Jersey, and open to getting licensure in another stateExperience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one timeComfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shiftACLS & PALS Certification (preferred)Current BLS CPR certificationExcellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systemsAbility to work 1 to 2 Saturday's a monthThe Local Infusion WayLocal Infusion is a respectful upbeat team united by our mission of shaping the way specialty infusion care is delivered.
