Emergency Room RN
Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
Shift: 12-hour nights
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
Every other weekend required; Freestanding emergency department with possibility of floating to the main ED
Environment: New facility with all new equipment and technology
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
Current RN license and the ability to work in a high-acuity emergency care environment
Experience caring for common ED chief complaints, trauma patients, and urgent care cases
Comfort working in a team-oriented, flexible, and patient-centered environment
Experience with emergency nursing workflows, documentation, and rapid response to changing patient needs
Ability to support point-of-care testing and emergency procedures
Provide direct emergency nursing care to patients across a wide range of acuity levels
Support trauma, cardiac, stroke, burn, and pediatric emergency care as needed
Monitor and manage patients using ED equipment, including cardiac and vital sign monitors, CT, X-ray, and point-of-care lab systems
Assist with respiratory support equipment such as BiPAP and ventilator-related care with available support
Use AIDET, SBAR, and clear narration of care to support an excellent patient experience
Collaborate with nurses, techs, and providers to maintain smooth patient flow and safe care delivery
