ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas.

Registered Nurse - Level 4 NICU

This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Weekend requirements include 4 weekends in a 6-week period, along with two Mondays and two Fridays.
The competent Nurse, in a Level 4 NICU setting, practices independently and demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. This role involves providing routine and complex nursing care for neonatal patients, ranging from feeder-growers to complex ICU cases, supported by CNAs for a 1:4 patient assignment ratio.
Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Administer medications and treatments as per protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
RN License in the state of Texas or compact state.
Previous experience in a Perinatal Setting or completion of a Perinatal RN Residency is preferred.
