Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Human Resources invites applications for the position of Administrative Assistant 4. This position serves as confidential assistant to the Human Resources Director and also provides clerical assistance to professional human resources staff. This position relieves the Director of the day-to-day routine administrative operations of the Human Resources Office. The programs currently administered out of the Human Resources Office include: advertising and recruiting, employment, orientation, education and training, benefits administration, performance appraisal, worker's compensation, classification and pay, file maintenance and the human resources information system for unclassified staff, classified staff, intermittent staff, student managers, resident assistants, and graduate assistants. The Human Resources Office is responsible for approximately 2000 employees. Focusing on Customers: The ability to serve the needs of those who support and/or rely on the services provided.
Three years of experience in administrative services.
