Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel TNCC and ENPC REQ; NO CALL REQ BACKFILL - CONTRACT - RN - ER General Information Shift Time: Start Time: 01:00 PM End Time: 01:00 AM Shift Type: Night Shift Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds - 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast track, 5 behavioral health · Number of Staff - 111 · Type of staff: o Day Shift - Charge 11, additional mid-shifts (9a,11a,1p,3p). 2 PCTs, 1 Paramedic, 1 LVN o Night Shift - Same as above · Patient Ratios - 1:4 ED, 1:5 BH, 1:3 cardiac/trauma · Type of equipment - Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers · EMR - MEDITECH · Permanent Positions on Unit? (Y/N) - Y Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · Meditech experience · Trauma experience · Holding inpatient experience · CPI List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, morgan lens, rapid infuser, resuscitation Best personality Fit: · Multitasker · Teamplayer · Self-starter Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. · Scrub Color - RN - navy blue Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. · David's South Austin policies Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, reigning annual chili cook-off winners, etc. · Active UBC and Social Committee Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. * Remember it is a very competitive market any information you can provide will help attract talent .
