Travel ICU / PCU RN - Rotating Shifts

Overview Registered Nurse - PCU in Honolulu, Hawaii. This travel temporary assignment starts on 09/07/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,951 to $1,977, with guaranteed hours of 32 per week. Shift work is 3x12-hour rotating shifts in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Note on holiday billing: holiday pay applies only when the shift begins on the holiday.

Short Term Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for adult patients in the PCU, including telemetry monitoring, routine assessments, and timely escalation of clinical changes.
Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; document responses and adverse events.
Perform ongoing patient assessments, update care plans, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning.
Communicate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and support staff; participate in rounds, handoffs, and care conferences.
Implement safety protocols, manage pain and comfort measures, and respond to alarms and urgent needs to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients and families as appropriate, provide individualized care, and prepare patients for transitions of care and discharge when indicated.
Requirements Hawaii RN license active prior to start of contract.
Must be able to pass on-site EKG test to continue contract.
Availability to work 3x12-hour rotating shifts and consecutive weekends as needed.
Travel nurse assignment; able to meet unit and hospital requirements for onboarding and credentialing.
