Radiation Therapist

We're looking for Radiation Therapists for an immediate travel opening in Chapel Hill, NC.
The right Radiation Therapist should have 1 year of experience. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. You'll play a critical role in the treatment of cancer and other diseases, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accuracy throughout the therapy process.
As a Radiation Therapist, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment
Verify treatment settings and patient identity before delivering therapy
Document treatment details and maintain accurate patient records
Communicate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and other team members
Inspect, maintain, and calibrate radiation therapy equipment regularly
The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as a Radiation Therapist. Radiation Therapists should be able to stand for long periods, work precisely with complex equipment, and offer compassionate care in emotionally sensitive situations.
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Therapy - Ther RAD - Travel
