Senior iOS Software Engineering

DoorDash is building the world's most reliable on-demand, logistics engine for delivery. We are continuing to grow rapidly and expanding our Engineering offices globally! We are looking for Senior iOS Engineers to build and maintain a large scale 24x7 global infrastructure system that powers DoorDash's 3-sided marketplace of Consumers, Merchants and Dashers.

About the Role We’re looking for Senior iOS Engineers who want to work on building an app that’s used by millions of people and critical to local entrepreneurs building their online presence. We expect Senior Engineers to be able to run projects end to end and mentor their junior to mid level peers. This role is hybrid with some in-office time expected and will report to an Engineering Manager.

Solve challenging real-time data transfer and synchronization problems

Keep up-to-date with the industry standards of iOS development

or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent

Proficiency in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, generating code, testing, monitoring and releasing software

Expert at Swift, and iOS SDK

Familiarity with networking, storage, and Cocoapods

Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile apps

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. DoorDash cares about you and your overall well-being.
