Biology Teacher for High School

Eastlake High School is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and committed science educator to join our science department as a biology teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Building administrators will contact you if they wish to schedule an interview.

Build strong, caring relationships with students, promoting both academic and personal growth.

Qualifications Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Biology or General Science.

A deep commitment to student‑centered teaching, inclusion, and equity.

A passion for science education and meaningful student relationships.

Preferred Experience working with high school students (ages 14-19).

Familiarity with science instruction and hands‑on lab practices.

Additional science endorsements (Chemistry, Physics).

Salary and Benefits Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, Responsibility, and a Technology stipend and Professional Fund.
