Description
Responsible for managing component material flow, purchase orders with suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks, and achieve inventory and fulfillment targets
Entering, maintaining, and expediting purchase orders to ensure timely receipt of material.
Analyze demand and supply data to identify inventory shortages and surpluses.
Interact cross-functionally with departments concerning specific purchasing needs.
Monitor lifecycle status of purchase items for warehouse, safety stock, value stream, and other fields specific to purchasing.
Develop and maintain good vendor relations.
Maintain approved supplier list.

Requirements
Associate degree in related field
3 years’ related experience in Supply Chain function, 1 year planning or related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Equivalent combination of education and experience
