Nursing Float Pool
The Nursing Float Pool is the department for Registered Nurses that are seeking a dynamic position with exposure to a broad range of patient acuity levels. Nurses in this department are adaptable to different units, including specialties, which support flexibility, time-management skills, and critical thinking.

• Ability to float between multiple Medical-Surgical Units, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department
• 12-hour shifts (7-7); Every third or every other weekend rotation options

The Registered Nurse II - Acute Care – MMC BID SAN role is responsible for the management of patient care, including clinical nursing practice/caring, leadership, management, professionalism, and growth/development, as well as the independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. ICU, SCU, ED and PACU RN’s require ACLS and PALS Certifications within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines. OB, NICU RN’s require NRP Certification within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines. Positions that are fully remote will not require BLS.
Experience: One year of RN experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse – Acute Care role .
Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women required.

The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
