Phlebotomist (temporary/hourly)

Phlebotomist Float - Nassau & Suffolk County, NY. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:30am-4:00pm and rotating Saturdays.
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months+ experience as a phlebotomist
1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
As a Float Phlebotomist, you will quickly gain a broad range of experience working with patients, team members, and clinics/locations.
Pay Range: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour.
Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.
