We are seeking an Estimator for our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our organization's growth, by utilizing their expertise in construction to accurately forecast project costs. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from residential to commercial, and to be a key player in the decision-making process. Develop comprehensive, detailed project cost estimates and proposals for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Review and interpret technical construction blueprints, design drawings, and specifications to prepare cost estimates.

Conduct site visits and gather all necessary data to aid in estimation and bidding.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to provide advice on construction cost management.

Analyze and evaluate subcontractor proposals and bids for fairness, accuracy, and completeness.

Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, cost fluctuations, and the local construction market to ensure the most accurate and competitive estimates.

Manage and maintain all estimation documentation, including updating databases and tracking systems.

Participate in negotiations and discussions with contractors and suppliers.

Provide post-bid analysis on awarded projects and offer insights for future bidding strategies.

A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation or a related role.

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, schematics, and plans.

Proficiency in estimation software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.

Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and standards.
