Remote Senior Tax Preparer

We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join a fully remote advisory team serving real estate investors, syndicates, and fund managers. In this role, you will help clients navigate complex tax matters with practical guidance, timely follow-through, and clear communication they can apply with confidence. Responsibilities:• Develop customized tax strategies for clients and refine those plans as circumstances, goals, or regulations change.• Analyze intricate tax questions by interpreting applicable tax law and authoritative guidance, then translate findings into sound recommendations.• Partner with tax preparation teams to align advisory plans with return preparation and support client communications throughout filing season.• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on real estate tax matters, including transactions, entity structures, and related accounting considerations.• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments to keep client guidance current and technically accurate.• Contribute to internal initiatives that improve client service, operational effectiveness, proposal development, and team training efforts.• Keep project records, client notes, and workflow details accurate and current within established management processes.• Identify opportunities to introduce additional firm services that support client needs, such as bookkeeping or ongoing tax advisory support.
