Job TitleThe Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is seeking a skilled Driller to join our team in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the state's transportation infrastructure while working on meaningful projects that keep Wyoming connected.As a Driller, you will operate drill rigs safely and efficiently to conduct geological and geotechnical investigations that support highway design and engineering. You will lead the daily activities of the drill team, oversee field operations, and ensure that all samples are obtained accurately and on schedule. This position requires a strong understanding of drill rig operations, support equipment, and proper maintenance practices.With minimal supervision, you will take ownership of the work, provide hands-on instruction to team members, and ensure that tools, equipment, and testing procedures meet the highest safety and performance standards.
