When you're ready for more, there's somewhere to go.What You'll DoProvide compassionate, dependable in-home care for seniors on weekend shiftsAssist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and transfersOffer medication reminders, prepare meals, and assist with light housekeepingProvide transportation to appointments and errands as neededProvide companionship and emotional support, including for clients living with dementia, anxiety, depression, or other cognitive or behavioral health conditionsObserve and report changes in client condition, and communicate clearly with the care teamRequiredValid California driver's license and reliable transportationConsistent weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday)Ability to pass a background checkAuthorized to work in the United StatesHigh school diploma or equivalentPreferred1+ years of professional caregiving experience (3+ years required for top pay tiers)CNA, HHA, or home health aide certificationCPR/First Aid certificationExperience supporting clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, anxiety, depression, or other cognitive or behavioral health conditionsExperience caring for clients in high-end or private estate settings, with demonstrated professionalism and discretionComfort Keepers serves seniors throughout San Diego County, including: Carlsbad, Chula Vista, Clairemont, Del Mar, Encinitas, Escondido, Hillcrest, La Jolla, La Mesa, Mira Mesa, Oceanside, Poway, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Vista, and surrounding communities.
