• *Exciting Opportunity for a Night Float RN!**
• *Position:** Registered Nurse - Float I (Nights)

• **Shift:** 7 PM to 7 AM
• **Work Type:** Full Time
• **Weekend Requirement:** Yes
• **EMR Used:** Epic (Required)

**Conduct initial assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age and needs.

• Develop and implement individualized plans of care within established timeframes.
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions by interpreting facts and evaluating outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Implement and document timely interventions tailored to patient needs.
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures.

**Delegate unit tasks appropriately to ensure comprehensive patient support.

• Coordinate team assignments and adjust based on patient and unit needs.
• Engage in the orientation of new staff and students.
• Serve as a resource for visitors, physicians, and colleagues.
• Customer Relations:**
• Maintain the hospital’s credibility and positive image through professional conduct.

**Assist with special projects as assigned.

• Understand and communicate Human Resources Policies clearly.
• Take responsibility for professional growth and compliance with all policies.

**Education:** Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• **Current New Mexico RN license or compact state license.
• Additional certifications may be necessary based on floating units.

**Knowledge and skills relevant to age/type of patient served.

• Understanding of patient rights in care delivery.
• Clear and concise communication tailored to the developmental age of patients.
