Credit Finance Attorney

A highly reputable Virginia firm is seeking an experienced associate to join its Leveraged Finance position in any of their Virginia offices— Richmond, Tysons, and Fredericksburg. You’ll work side-by-side with experienced partners, gaining exposure to a wide variety of financing and client-facing matters.

Offers lower billable hours (1750 billable requirement), providing a better work-life balance compared to market (salary ranges from 165K to 220K, depending on multiple factors with bonus opportunities included)
Advise lenders and borrowers across acquisition finance, private equity, and private credit transactions
Draft and review credit agreements, security agreements, guaranty agreements, and UCC Article 9 documentation
Build your expertise in a dynamic finance practice at the heart of complex deals
Solid experience in finance law, representing both lenders and borrowers
Knowledge of acquisition finance and private equity-backed transactions
Strong academic record and excellent drafting skills
Corporate law experience is a plus
