Recruitment Specialist at Calculated Hire Our Talent Acquisition team has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and professional Associate Recruiter. The mission of our Talent Acquisition team is to attract top talent and build a workforce that reflects the communities we serve. The ideal candidate will have good relationship management and recruiting skills. This role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement. Build and maintain effective partnerships with other Recruiters and Hiring Managers to create a strategic recruiting plan to attract top industry talent with focus on diversity

• Build candidate database through effective sourcing and recruiting
• Provide consultation to hiring managers and other stakeholders in alignment with applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations as well as departmental processes
• Conduct intake sessions with hiring managers for the creation of job requisitions
• Create and complete requisitions in Workday in alignment with internal processes
• Work effectively with assigned Recruiting Coordinator to ensure that all steps within the hiring and onboarding processes are completed accurately and timely
• As needed, this position may also be required to perform Recruiting Coordinator duties in support of the business

Hybrid – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to their designated Duke Energy facility. Two days a week will be required in office

• May be required to travel to other locations based on business needs

Bachelor’s degree OR High School Diploma with four (4) or more years of related experience in lieu of a degree

Bachelor’s degree, in an HR related program

• Two (2) or more years of human resources experience
• 1 year of full lifecycle Recruiting experience
• Applicant Tracking system (ATS), and CRM experience
• Experience networking and proactively recruiting various skill sets
• Experience gathering detailed business requirements from customers
• High level user of Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
• Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as in a team setting/collaborative environment
