The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of department personnel and for performing a wide variety of housekeeping functions. The ideal candidate must be dependable, organized, professional and motivated; must have good awareness of internal and external deadlines.

Responsibilities
Assist with leadership and direction for housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness for both the guest rooms and public areas
Recruit, train, motivate, and coach staff members with a friendly and nurturing style
Inspect the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and public areas.
Submit work orders to maintenance department
Ensure that operational and safety procedures are followed
Ensure housekeeping requests from guests or management are responded to in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner
Perform the work of housekeeping and laundry personnel when necessary
