Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU - Night

Seeking an experienced ICU registered nurse for a 15-week contract specializing in critical care. The role involves providing advanced patient care in a high-acuity environment, primarily during night shifts.

Manage and monitor critically ill patients using advanced ventilator and hemodynamic equipment.

Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias, administer emergency medications, and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.

Perform invasive procedures, including chest tube insertion/removal, arterial and central line care, and phlebotomy.

Implement infection prevention protocols and ensure safety through proper use of PPE and isolation precautions.

Document patient status accurately and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care.

Assist with managing high-flow oxygen devices and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).

Hold a valid California registered nurse license.

Possess at least 3 years of ICU experience, with proficiency in critical care procedures.

Able to work nights, include every other weekend, and adapt to float assignments to DOU, Tele, or Med Tele units.
