Weekend Registered Nurse - Day Shift

Job Summary:
This position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients in a large acute care hospital setting. The role requires the ability to circulate and work 3x12 hour day shifts.
Location:Orange, California, United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care in a Labor and Delivery unit.
- Circulate within the L&D unit.
- Perform patient assessments.
- Administer medications.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor and document patient conditions.
- Assist with deliveries and related procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- NRP certification.
- AWHONN Intermediate certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Must be able to circulate.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- AWHONN Advanced certification.
- Experience in large hospital settings.
Special Considerations:
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.
- Guaranteed hours are subject to call-offs (facility has the ability to call off once per pay period).
Scheduling:
- 3x12 hour Day shifts.
- 19:00-07:30
- Shifts are assigned based on unit needs.
