Server page is loaded## Serverlocations: Charleston, South Carolinatime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR-0026701925 Essex Farms Drive, Charleston, South Carolina 29414# Job DescriptionThe Server is responsible for courteously serving resident and guest meals, and for clean-up and resetting of dining room following meal service.Assists residents when placing orders from the menuProvide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk and coffee/tea)Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls prior to and after each mealReport any broken equipment or tableware to supervisorUnderstands sit-down service and proper serving techniquesHas a basic understanding of food preparation (salads, desserts, etc.)Knowledge of proper food storage and labeling techniquesSweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining roomAttends required in-services and staff meetingsCompletes all other duties assignedMust be attentive to special needs of residents including: mobility deficits, memory impairment, etc.)Assists with tray serviceFollows confidentiality policies regarding release of resident informationInteracts in a polite considerate manner to residents, guests, co-workers and supervisorsRequirements:Must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygieneMust be able to read and follow simple instructionsMust possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasksMust be able to learn quickly and apply learned principlesMust be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervisionMust be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objectsMust be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a timeMust be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feetMust be organized and willing to work well with other team membersMust be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays* 401k + Fulltime & Part-time Benefits Packages* Training, Development & Career Laddering* Great work-life balance* Flexible Scheduling
