You will collaborate closely with integrated design teams to produce high-quality work, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and work plans.As part of our integrated design team, you create buildings that elevate the human experience through design. You will partner directly with the Project Manager to ensure the financial health of the project, the quality of project documents, claim prevention, team collaboration and communication. We rely on all our employee-owners to apply their financial acumen to grow the Firm profitably.Align design intent with project schedules, budgets, and profitability targetsMentor and lead teams to produce high-quality deliverables and drive innovative design excellenceMaintain clear communication with the Project Manager and design team, ensuring alignment on design intentDevelop creative and technically sound solutions to design challenges, ensuring high standards of design excellenceCoordinate project drawings, specifications, and documentation with the project team, ensuring alignment with design intent and budgetLead collaboration within project teams, generating innovative design ideas and solutionsApply advanced architectural concepts to projects, including complex assignments requiring new or improved techniquesIntegrate QA/QC procedures and practice standards into project deliverables, resolving any issuesEnsure BIM standards are applied and coordinate with the Project Manager and BIM ManagerProvide technical guidance to less experienced staff, fostering a collaborative learning environmentMeet project deliverable deadlines and manage time effectively to maintain project schedules and work plansParticipate in client presentations and contribute to successful project outcomesRequired Qualifications:Strong technical knowledge with the ability to coordinate and contribute to design and technical solutionsUndergraduate Degree in Architecture required; professional licensure requiredMinimum of 8 years of professional experience in a commercial firm, inclusive of at least 4 years designing Public Sector, Institutional, Civic, Public Safety, and/or Justice buildingsProficient in Revit, Bluebeam, and other standard architecture softwareAbility to lead sustainable design principles in technical plans and deliverablesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong organizational abilitiesActive participation in professional organizations and involvement in marketing and business development activities*TO BE CONSIDERED, PLEASE SUBMIT CURRENT PORTFOLIO/WORK SAMPLES IN PDF FORMAT*DLR Group is an integrated design firm delivering architecture, engineering, interiors, planning, and building optimization for new builds, renovations, and adaptive reuse projects.At the core of our firm are interdisciplinary teams engaged in every step of project lifecycles.
