ICU Travel Nurse Job Details

Assignment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Travel Nursing Jobs)

Location: Albany, NY 12208 — nursing jobs in Albany, NY / upstate New York

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour day shifts)

Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250

Setting: ICU — Trauma ICU, Surgical ICU, Neurological ICU at a Level One Trauma Center

EMR: Epic (Epic EMR experience required)

ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements

Active RN license (Registered Nurse) in the United States

At least 2 years of recent ICU RN experience caring for trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients

Experience working in a Level One Trauma Center required

Epic EMR experience required (critical care documentation proficiency)

Ability to wear navy blue scrubs as per facility dress code

ICU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients (trauma, neuro, surgical)

Monitor, assess, and respond to rapid changes in patient condition as an intensive care nurse

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams — physicians, respiratory therapy, and support staff — to implement patient-centered care plans

Use Epic EMR for accurate, timely documentation and interdisciplinary communication

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards in a Level One Trauma Center environment

Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements
