SCOPE We’re looking for a Pricing Actuary Lead (open rank) to help lead pricing strategy and execution across our product portfolio. This role is ideal for a data-driven insurance professional with strong actuarial and business instincts who’s ready to drive pricing performance and partner closely with Product, Underwriting, and Analytics teams. You’ll play a critical role in shaping rate adequacy, competitiveness, and profitability in a dynamic, fast-paced non-standard auto insurance market. This is a remote position and the ideal candidate is located in the Southeast Region.

DUTIES Help lead the design and implementation of pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with profitability and growth targets.

Drive rate filing strategies, including preparation of actuarial support and regulatory responses.

Monitor performance metrics such as loss ratios, retention, and conversion to evaluate pricing effectiveness and recommend adjustments.

Ensure compliance with actuarial standards and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or related field required.

progress toward actuarial credentials is a plus.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 5+ years of pricing experience in P&C insurance, preferably in personal or non-standard auto.

Commercial lines knowledge a plus.

Deep understanding of actuarial pricing methods, loss cost modeling, and competitive analysis.

Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, or actuarial software (e.g., Strong strategic thinking, business judgment, and communication skills.
