Doeren Mayhew offers a diversified experience in public accounting, providing our employees with many opportunities to grow, develop and advance within their careers.Responsibilities:Assist with preparation of various tax returns including individuals, C-Corp, S-Corp, partnerships, trust, estate, etc. for clients in a variety of industriesDemonstrate intermediate technical aptitude of taxation and can handle complex returns and projects with confidenceUtilize analytical and decision-making skills to solve complex technical issuesMaintain timely and accurate communication with team and clients to manage expectations, deadlines, and deliverablesAssist with training new employees and interns on firm technology, processes and proceduresPresent new ideas and improvements for ways of performing tasks in order to achieve firm and departmental goalsSeek opportunities to participate in practice development to build network of referral sources.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in AccountingCPA License preferred, CPA-eligible, or has a progressive plan toward passing the CPA exam in placeWillingness to pursue Master's Degree in Taxation or Master's Degree in AccountingPrior experience in domestic tax at public accounting firm preferredDemonstrated leadership qualitiesExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently, but also in a team environmentAbility to adapt quickly to new technology platformsAbility to manage multiple projects/clients and deadlinesGo Systems software experience a plusDoeren Mayhew is an Equal Opportunity Employer. disability; veteran, marital, or any other status protected by law."Doeren Mayhew" is the brand name under which Doeren Mayhew Assurance and Doeren Mayhew Advisors, LLC and its subsidiary entities provide professional services.
