Chief's is a six-story bar and live music venue celebrating the ever-expanding musical legacy of Eric Church. Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Chief's features a ticketed music venue, inspirational interiors, and a distinct focus on original live performances-offering fans an unmatched entertainment experience in Music City. The venue includes a broadcast studio, home to Church's Outsiders Radio on SiriusXM, with capabilities to host programming from a range of media partners. Culinary offerings are in collaboration with James Beard Award-winning pitmaster Rodney Scott, available throughout the space. On the fifth floor, Redemption Bar, a new concept developed with award-winning artist Ashley McBryde, is dedicated to spotlighting original music and emerging talent. The VIP Host is the first impression for our guests by welcoming them into Chief's and introducing them to the experience. The VIP Host, at all times, is an example of hospitality and service while assuming full responsibility for supporting the guest experience, maintenance, cleanliness and organization of the venue.

Check-in and seating guests for the restaurant

Using the reservation system to check-in and seat guests for the restaurant

Using an in-depth knowledge of programming throughout the venue to answer questions

Follow all Steps of Service and brand standards

Ensure all Federal, State and City laws and ordinances are followed with regards to the handling and responsible sale of alcoholic beverages

Ensure par levels for all supplies including proper containers for both food and beverage service

Keep working knowledge of Chief's brand, history, culture, and programming

Maintain daily inventories of all menus and music collateral throughout the venue

Prior hosting experience in a nightclub setting

Proven ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced restaurant, live music venue or similar environment preferred

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results- oriented, restaurant/bar/venue environment

Exceptional guest service and hospitality skills

Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays

Able to work rapidly, especially during peak periods to ensure that all guests are being serviced properly and necessary operational tasks are being completed in a timely manner

This role will need strong ambassadors of the brand ready to maximize the potential of revenue generation, profitability, and driving sales, while delivering unparalleled service.
