Job Description: Must have current Colorado state LPN license and current BLS for Healthcare Providers. Must have 1 year prior experience working in correctional care setting or will review candidates with heavy med pass and med/surge experience. Prior travel experience preferred as well as Bilingual Skills preferred. Under close supervision of an RN or Charge Nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with established plans. Assists RNs and Care Providers with procedures, medication administration, phlebotomy, and limited laboratory procedures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or GED. Completion of a nursing education program that satisfies the licensing requirements of the Colorado State Board of Nursing for Licensed Practical Nurse.

Interpersonal communication skills to communicate with hospital staff and diverse patient population. Clerical skills. Ability to assist patient with personal hygiene. Certificate/License/Registration: Current Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider Certification/CPR.
