Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity, with at least 1 year of PCU experience in the last 3 years.

• At least 1 year of experience in PCU (permanent or float) in the last 3 years, documented on the resume.
• At least 1 completed travel assignment preferred; if no travel experience, must have over 3 years of experience.
• The position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in a stepdown unit.

The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5, adjusted for acuity.
Candidates will engage in a combination of PCU and Med/Tele beds.
Orientation includes classroom instruction and appointments with health and HR as needed.
Candidates must allow 48 hours for follow-up inquiries regarding their application.
The trauma level within the facility is level 3.
The care setting is acute.
The primary shift for this role is day shifts.
