General Maintenance Repair Tech Senior

The Senior Maintenance workers job is to perform routine and extensive range of work in the repair and general maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment under general supervision. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
Support the installation, setup, modification, and teardown of new and existing production lines to meet operational and production requirements.
Schedule, coordinate, and oversee outside contractors and service providers; Evaluate equipment performance and facility needs; research, recommend, test equipment to diagnose malfunctions and support the acquisition of new machinery, tools, and suppliers.
Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings gears or other parts of machinery.
Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment.
Move and assist in transportation of furniture and equipment.
Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other health and safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 4 years of experience in related field.
General knowledge of various types of mechanical equipment.
General knowledge of electrical engineering, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC.
Able to successfully complete boiler operator training for license.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Willing to work flexible hours and shifts.
Attention to details to ensure quality of work.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 plus bonus
