Occupational Therapist, Full-Time, Therapy Works

Job Description TherapyWorks 4 Kids, LLC is looking to hire a fun and upbeat Occupational therapist to join our dynamic team. Position is full-time. Position includes PTO, CEU reimbursement, retirement savings plan, flexible schedule, mentoring & company t-shirts.
Pediatric Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat children ages 0-18 years with a variety of conditions/diagnoses including, but not limited to: neuromuscular conditions, cerebral palsy, TBI, Down Syndrome, orthopedic conditions, autism, stroke, torticollis, developmental delay, chromosomal abnormalities. Effective communication and documentation are essential to this position. The occupational therapist will participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants- provide required documentation and supervision as per company regulations
- Demonstrate competency in all duties related to an occupational therapist
- Maintain files online or in charts per set guidelines
- Collaborate with other therapists and families in order to provide best care of client
- Clear and concise therapy documentation of evaluations, daily notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and supervisory notes in a timely manner that comply with the company’s standards.
- Master of Occupational Therapy Degree from an accredited institution
- Current Occupational Therapist License as per S.C. All immunizations up to date (childhood)
- Pediatric occupational therapy experience
- Flexible in work habits and work schedule
- Must be able to transfer client over 50 pounds with help of another individual.
- Collaboration with other therapists, families, and physicians is key to a child’s success.
