Pediatrics Geneticist

Seeking a full-time Board Certified/Eligible Metabolic Geneticist for a faculty role at a university department of pediatrics.
Responsibilities patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings
participation in multidisciplinary teams
teaching medical students and residents
engaging in clinical research with protected time and collaboration opportunities
contributing to program development across diverse areas such as neurogenetics, cardiogenetics, cancer genetics, dysmorphology, and congenital anomalies
Qualifications board certification or eligibility in genetics
broad interests in clinical genetics, especially metabolic genetics
strong communication and teaching skills
Additional highlights involve access to a state-of-the-art genetic testing lab, involvement in a new graduate genetic counseling program, and working within a comprehensive pediatric care network.
Compensation ranges from $238,000 to $278,000, with benefits like retirement contributions, comprehensive health coverage, vacation, CME funds, relocation assistance, malpractice and life insurance, and loan repayment options.
Applicants must be California residents; the role is not eligible for a Conrad 30 waiver.
