Patient Medication Liaison Medication Adherence

MU Health Care is looking for a dynamic and dedicated pharmacy technician to join our team as a Patient Medication Liaison Medication Adherence. Conduct prospective medication prior authorization services to expedite clinic and discharge workflow and enhance the patient experience.

Coordinate refill and prescription renewal requests by pre-screening patients for viable payment sources and managing reimbursement issues.

Facilitate effective working relationships and consistent communication between clinics, hospitals, patients, and pharmacies.

Identify and refer appropriate patients to medication assistance programs.

May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents.

High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.

The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job.
