Berkeley Hall Club is seeking a sophisticated and service-focused Bartender to craft exceptional beverage experiences for our members and guests. This role requires expertise in beverage preparation, strong knowledge of alcohol service laws, and the ability to create a welcoming and refined bar atmosphere.

Expert Beverage Service

Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency.

Maintain thorough knowledge of bar menu offerings, wine lists, and current beverage trends.

Ensure compliance with South Carolina alcohol service laws and Club policies.

Bar Operations

Maintain inventory of liquors, supplies, and beverages; notify management when replenishment is needed.

Ensure freshness and quality of fruits, juices, and garnishes.

Arrange bar displays to meet predetermined presentation standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area in compliance with Health Code regulations.

Support dining room service when needed.

Experience in Hospitality: Previous experience in a bartending and serving role within a fine dining or upscale environment is preferred.

Professional Appearance: Maintain a well-groomed and polished appearance that reflects the standards of our community.

Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as our community thrives during these times.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often up to 8 hours during shifts.

Lifting and Carrying: Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds regularly, including trays, supplies, and equipment.

Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to access supplies and equipment behind the bar or in the dining area.

Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to efficiently handle bar tools and serve beverages.
