Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
Main hospital and affiliated FSEDs providing comprehensive emergency services
Shift flexibility including days, nights, and weekends
Main hospital shifts may be shorter than 12 hours, FSED shifts are 12 hours
Experience delivering emergency care in hospital and FSED settings
Florida medical license required
This role involves delivering emergency services across a hospital main campus and multiple freestanding emergency departments in the Sanford area. The facilities are equipped with modern infrastructure supporting efficient emergency care, including laboratory and imaging services. Flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts
Main hospital shifts may be less than 12 hours
FSED shifts are 12 hours in duration
Coverage across hospital and affiliated departments
Supportive emergency care infrastructure established for patient volume
Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency patients in hospital and FSED settings
Management of a broad spectrum of medical, surgical, and traumatic presentations
Performing emergency procedures within scope of practice
Documentation and order entry within electronic medical records
Coordination with consulting providers, nursing, and ancillary teams
Active Florida medical license
Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
Board certification or eligibility in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with at least 3 years of direct emergency medicine experience
