Stinson’s patent attorneys advise companies on every aspect of intellectual property law, including patent protection and strategy, enforcement, and client counseling, and defend clients against claims of infringement.

Our major clients span industries such as medical devices, consumer devices, transportation, construction, agribusiness, sports and recreation, cannabis, heat, ventilating and air conditioning, infrastructure protection and repair, manufacturing equipment, and electrical and fiber‑optic connectors.

This position’s responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, and software‑implemented business methods; drafting and reviewing intellectual property and technology‑related agreements and licenses; Juris Doctor, higher degree, or equivalent in Law

7+ years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution in the electrical arts.

Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or related degree and/or work experience

Excellent academic credentials and exemplary research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Licensed to practice law in California.
