Bilingual Caregiver - Home Care

Range = $27,618 to $96,677 annually * * Range above represents difficulty of care payments paid to a caregiver for providing personal care services to an eligible person residing either in the caregiver’s home or in the person’s own home. Stipend levels 18 through 21 are available only by special application to the purchasing governmental unit. We are currently searching for a bilingual couple or individual to provide a wonderful shared living home for a woman in her 70s in the Boston area. She likes cooking Spanish food, people watching, TV (loves game shows), and staying socially active. She is looking for a person or people that share similar interests and will help her feel like she is an inclusive member of the household. We are looking for a Spanish speaking shared living provider who would welcome her into their home and provide supports with daily living and skill development. She will also require assistance with budgeting and managing her monthly funds, managing emergent safety situations, and support with scheduling activities. Caregiver responsibilities will include planning and sharing meals, coordinating appointments and social activities, and providing assistance with budgeting, safety, and daily living skills. To qualify, all applicants must have First Aid and CPR training, a valid driver's license, own a car, pass a CORI, and meet DDS criteria. The caregiver will receive a generous stipend, training, and ongoing support. Clinical supports, nursing supports, and respite funds are also available, as needed.

Nonotuck Resources Associates () is a community-based agency that has been providing residential services since 1972 to people with intellectual disabilities and acquired brain injuries. We support people who need assistance to remain living in a home setting. The individual and shared living caregiver share a home; the shared living caregiver must have an extra bedroom.
