Common Area Attendant FT

Position Summary The Common Area Attendant maintains all inside and assigned outdoor public areas of the location and interacts with guests in a manner that promotes a positive impression of the staff and property. This position creates a comfortable, clean guest environment, contributing to guest satisfaction and the success of the location.

Essential Functions Clean and maintain assigned interior and exterior common areas.

Replenish supplies where needed.

Empty trash and maintain public-space cleanliness.

Report maintenance needs promptly.

Communicate with housekeeping or Front Desk regarding cleaning needs.

Other Functions Perform other duties as needed to ensure smooth property operations and cleanliness.

Assist the housekeeping team as needed.

Use phone to track/monitor room cleans through the location's computer program.

Pre and post-storm preparations.

Qualifications & Requirements Reliable with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently.

Education & Experience No formal education requirements.

Experience preferred but not required.

Knowledge & Skills Understanding of cleaning procedures.

Basic communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Ability to push/pull carts and equipment.

Work Environment Indoor/outdoor work in various weather conditions. Weekend and holiday availability required.
