Responsibilities
Receive specimens from surgery and accession specimens into Cerner.
Process tissue, embed, cut, and stain slides.
Collect blocks from PA staff and prepare materials for histology processing.
Qualifications
Min of 2 years of experience within the specialty (Pathology Laboratory).
ASCP (HT/HLT) required.
Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program, or an Associate's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.
