Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift hospital position requiring recent acute care experience and multiple advanced certifications.
Details

• Work in a hospital Respiratory Therapy department with 350 beds
• Day and night shifts staffed with 1 charge and 5 staff members each
• Variable patient ratios
• Uses Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, and Vyair Avea ventilator equipment
• Meditech EMR used, prior experience preferred but not required
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential through NBRC
Active state license required if applicable
Minimum 6 months of current acute care RRT hospital experience within the last 6 months
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
AHA or ARC certifications accepted, none expiring within first 30 days of start
PEDS/NICU/PICU experience preferred
No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
US SSN and DOB required for consideration
One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri)
Additional Information

Perform ventilator management and airway management procedures
Work as part of an energetic, team-oriented staff with a strong focus on patient experience
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
