RN- Ambulatory Care Unit (Nights)

The 2E Observation Unit, also known as the Clinical Decision Unit, at Indian River Hospital cares for patients requiring further observation before being readmitted or returning home. By joining this team as an RN, you will assist fellow caregivers and healthcare staff in providing a comfortable space for patients to recover and regain their strength. A caregiver in this position works nights from 6:45PM - 7:15AM.

Provide direct nursing care.

Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.

Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.

Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)

One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Personal Protective Equipment
