What You'll DoTriage Symptoms: Assess callers using evidence-based protocolsDeliver Immediate Care Advice: Recommend next steps, from self-care to urgent care, calmly and confidentlyOffer Health Education: Counsel patients on medications, test results, and chronic condition managementCrisis Triage: Handle behavioral health, emergency, and complex calls with empathy and graceDocument Interactions: Accurately chart calls in our EHR and follow compliance protocolsTeam Collaboration: Work closely with a supportive leadership team and fellow remote RNsRequirements5+ Years of Recent Hands-On Acute Care RN ExperienceER or Med-Surg strongly preferredCurrent Compact RN License in good standing from the state you are physically inBSN Degree from an accredited American universityConfidence with phone-based care and multi-screen computer systemsStrong clinical judgment, emotional intelligence, and documentation skillsMission-first mindset and passion for serving military-connected communitiesBonus PointsExperience with behavioral health, mother-baby, and/or pedsPast work in telehealth, triage, or call center nursingFamiliarity with military healthcare systems or VA patientsTech & Work EnvironmentMust have a hard-wired Ethernet internet connection (Wi-Fi only, satellite, or radio internet is not acceptable)Quiet, distraction-free home office space with a door for HIPAA complianceMetrics-driven environment – you'll need to meet quality, handle time, and documentation goalsFederal RequirementsMust be a U.BenefitsFor nurses on our advice line, we will assist with licensure in all 50 states within the first 90 days of hire.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status or disability.
